        LAFAYETTE, La. — Three Xavier University of Louisiana men's tennis singles players were eliminated Saturday in main-draw quarterfinal matches of the Cajuns Classic tournament at City Club at River Ranch.
        In flight-1 Julius Hell of the Gold Rush lost 6-2, 6-4 to Louisiana-Lafayette's William Ribero. In flight-2 Dedric Ray lost 6-4, 6-4 to South Alabama's Juan Accossatto, and VanDer Woody lost 6-4, 6-2 to Tulane's Sam Scherer.
        In the flight-2 singles consolation bracket, Nereo Suarez defeated Louisiana-Lafayette's Thomas Garbarino 6-4, 6-4.
        Hell and Woody will play for the doubles flight-1 main-draw title at 10 a.m. Sunday against Louisiana-Lafayette's Mason Landreth and Vasil Dimitrov. Venue address is 1100 Camellia Blvd., Lafayette, LA 70508.
