NEW ORLEANS — It was more of the 
 same for Xavier University of
 Louisiana men's tennis Sunday.
	
	        The XULA men, ranked fifth in the NAIA,
	 defeated city rival Loyola 4-3 to extend their win home win streak to 26.
	 The Gold Rush have not lost a dual match at XULA Tennis Center since April 2018.
	 
		        XULA and Loyola played the singles matches
		 first, and the Gold Rush clinched by winning on the top four courts.
		  Sophomores 
Jacobi Bain (No. 1 singles) and 
Jered Wilson (No. 4) won in straight sets,
			 and freshmen 
Mathieu Strauss (No. 2) and 
Julius Hell (No. 3) won in three. 
			 Strauss clinched with his 6-0, 5-7, 6-3 victory against Remus Hebhang-Balan.
					 
		         XULA is 3-1 and won its last three.  
		  Loyola is 0-3.
