ALEXANDRIA, La. —
Julius Hell clinched in doubles and singles Saturday to help Xavier University
of Louisiana earn a 4-1 men's tennis victory against Texas Wesleyan at the LSUA Tournament.
The Gold Rush (8-3), ranked fifth in the NAIA,
finished 3-0 in this event. XULA defeated Dillard and Our Lady of the Lake Friday.
Hell and
Jacobi Bain clinched the doubles point
on the first court with a 6-4 victory against Mathieu Vinet and Pablo Olmedo.
Hell ended the match when he defeated Olmedo 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 on the second singles court.
Guillermo Coiras and
Dedric Ray scored XULA's
other doubles victory. Coiras and Bain won in singles.
