Owls win final 3 to defeat Gold Rush 4-3

        OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Sixth-ranked William Woods won the last three matches Saturday to rally for a 4-3 men's tennis victory against fifth-ranked Xavier University of Louisiana in the consolation semifinals of the ITA NAIA National Indoor Championships.
        Nereo Suarez's 6-0, 7-6 (7-4) victory against Andres De Los Rios Kolejewska on the fourth singles court gave the Gold Rush a 3-1 lead, then the Owls (3-2) won on courts two, one and six. Felix Diedrichs clinched with his 6-0, 6-1 victory against Jered Wilson.
        VanDer Woody had XULA's other singles victory, 6-3, 6-0 against Stepan Mach. The Gold Rush earned the doubles point when Dedric Ray and Ivan Vazquez won 6-4 against Diedrichs and De Los Rios Kolejewska.
        XULA (1-2) will play at 8 a.m. Sunday in the seventh-place match against ninth-ranked Coastal Georgia.
