NAIA women's soccer coaches poll of Aug. 28, 2024

        NEW ORLEANS — For the second consecutive time, Xavier University of Louisiana women's soccer received votes in the NAIA coaches poll.
        The Gold Nuggets were tied for 40th with two points Wednesday. In the preseason poll two weeks earlier, XULA collected 14 points and was tied for 36th.
        XULA is a second-year program that won the Red River Athletic Conference regular-season championship and reached the second round of NAIA nationals in 2023. That team never received a vote in the coaches polls.
        The Gold Nuggets (0-2) will play host to NCAA Division II Spring Hill at noon Saturday at Lafreniere Park in suburban Metairie, La. Admission is free to all XULA home soccer games.
        Additional NAIA polls will be announced Sept. 11, Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6 and Dec. 18.
