NEW ORLEANS —
Xavier University of Louisiana's
Amira Bergaoui is the
Red River Athletic Conference's first player of the week in women's tennis in 2025.
The RRAC announced the award Tuesday,
and it covered matches from Feb. 24- March 2.
Bergaoui — a sophomore from Tunis, Tunisia,
and No. 9 in the ITA NAIA singles rankings — won 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 at home

the other was in the singles final of the NAIA Gulf ITA Regional Championships in September at XULA.
The RRAC weekly award is Bergaoui's
third of her career.
XULA swept the tennis awards —
Nereo
Suarez was the men's recipient.
