Gold Nuggets ranked No. 3 in latest ITA release

XULA Women's Tennis has been on a tear lately, and the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings reflect that in a big way.

The Gold Nuggets, who recently won the RRAC title and received a first-round bye in the NAIA national championships, leapt five spots in the most recent ITA rankings, from No. 8 to No. 3.

An incredible three Xavier women are ranked in the national top 15, with Maja Brnic checking in at No. 6, McKenna Wheatley at No. 11, and Ana Sabikova at No. 14.

All three players improved from their previous rankings, as Brnic was No. 11, Whealey No. 16, and Sabikova No. 15 the last time the ITA released its player ratings.

Brnic and Wheatley, who are 21-5 as a pair, improved by one spot and are now the No. 4 doubles team in the NAIA.
