Buy tickets for Thursday and Friday

        NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana and LSU-Shreveport pushed up the schedule of their Red River Athletic Conference baseball series. The adjustments:
        •  Thursday, March 6:  one nine-inning game starting at 7 p.m. CST.
        •  Friday, March 7:  doubleheader — seven-inning game, then a nine-inning game — starting at 1 p.m.
        All games will be played at Skelly-Rupp Stadium, 2515 Vespasian Blvd., New Orleans LA 70114. The venue is about five miles from XULA and on the West Bank.
        The series originally was scheduled for Friday and Saturday, but weather experts predict a 50-percent chance of rain Saturday.
        XULA is 4-10 overall and 3-6 (tied for sixth place) in the Red River. LSUS is 19-0 and 6-0, and on Tuesday the Pilots climbed to No. 1 in the NAIA coaches poll.
