Gold Nuggets' game against LSU New Orleans canceled

XULA Women's Basketball announced Monday that its scheduled home exhibition game against the LSU New Orleans Privateers had been canceled. The game will not be made up.

The two teams were to have played Tuesday in the Convocation Center, a game that would have been the first home action of the season for the Gold Nuggets.

Xavier's home opener will now be at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7 against Huston Tillotson, which is also Homecoming 2026. In the interim, the team faces a pair of road games: Oct. 30 at crosstown rival Dillard and an exhibition game at Louisiana on Nov. 3.
