NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana announced Friday several schedule changes involving fall sports teams.
        •  Volleyball's 1 p.m. Saturday match at Louisiana College was moved to the gym at Pineville High School (1511 Line St., zip code 71360). It's the first-ever Red River Athletic Conference match for both teams.
        •  Volleyball's Sept. 24-25 RRAC home matches were moved to DeSoto Recreation Center in DeSoto, Texas, a Dallas suburb (211 East Pleasant Run Road, zip code 75115). The schedule for all matches:
        Friday, Sept. 24:
        —  Court 1:  Louisiana College vs. Wiley, 10 a.m.; Texas College vs. Southwest (N.M.), noon; XULA vs. Paul Quinn, 2 p.m.
        —  Court 2:  Jarvis Christian vs. Huston-Tillotson, noon; Louisiana College vs. Our Lady of the Lake, 2 p.m.
        Saturday, Sept. 25:
        —  Court 1:  XULA vs. Huston-Tillotson, 10 a.m.; Jarvis Christian vs. Southwest (N.M.), noon; XULA vs. Wiley, 2 p.m.
        —  Court 2:  Texas College vs. Our Lady of the Lake, 10 a.m.; Paul Quinn vs. Louisiana College, noon
        •  Men's and women's cross country did not compete in the LSU Invitational Friday as scheduled. XULA's distance runners will make their season debut Sept. 25 in the Lake Charles Toyota Cowboy Stampede in Lake Charles, La., at Enos Derbonne Sports Complex (7903 Lake St., zip code 70607). The women's 5,000-meter race will start at 8:30 a.m., followed by the men's four-mile race at 9.
