        JACKSON, Miss. — Xavier University of Louisiana tennis won 4-of-10 matches Friday at the Jackson State Invitational.
        The Gold Nuggets' Juliette Finch and McKenna Wheatley and the Gold Rush's Jered Wilson advanced to singles semifinals — Finch in the A-bracket after her 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) victory against Jackson State's Robin Alston, Wheatley in the B-bracket after her 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) victory against Mississippi College's Anna Valiaeva and Wilson in the B-bracket after his 7-6 (9-7), 6-0 victory against Jackson State's Alejandro Pinilla.
        The two-day tournament will conclude Saturday.
