LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Xavier University of Louisiana, ranked 11th in the NAIA in women's tennis, lost 4-0 Saturday to 13th-ranked Lindsey Wilson at Grizzly Invitational #2.
        XULA freshman Valaine Clarke led 7-5, 4-3 on the second court against Lucia Mora — No. 40 in the ITA NAIA end-of-season singles rankings of 2020-21 — when the Blue Raiders clinched. Clarke and Tianna Dixon led 17th-ranked Mora and Alexandra Parro 5-4 on the first doubles court when Lindsey Wilson clinched that point.
        The Gold Nuggets will play top-ranked and five-time defending NAIA champion Georgia Gwinnett at 10 a.m. EST Sunday.
