Shay Angelle drove in two runs to give Xavier University
of Louisiana a 4-1 victory against Texas A&M-San Antonio and a split of their
Red River Athletic Conference softball doubleheader Friday.
The Jaguars won the opener 5-2.
XULA will stay in San Antonio
and play Our Lady of the Lake in an RRAC doubleheader at noon Saturday.
The Gold Nuggets' next home competition will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday
doubleheader against NCAA Division II Spring Hill at Wesley Barrow Stadium's
softball facility.
