Rain delay pushes XULA Softball's RRAC Opener to Friday

LECOMPTE, La. - The Gold Nuggets did not get far into their RRAC quarterfinal game against Texas A&M-Texarkana before the Central Louisiana weather interfered.

The game was scoreless and only just into the bottom of the first when heavy rains forced a reschedule.

XULA and TAMUT will resume their contest at noon on Saturday, but the contest will no longer be at Champions Sportsplex. Instead, the Gold Nuggets and Eagles will relocate to Wildcat Park on the campus of Louisiana Christian in nearby Pineville.
