        NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana Athletics announced Wednesday the launch of an official app. Developed in partnership with From Now On, the new XULA Gold App will enhance the XULA fan experience.
        The XULA Gold App will include game-day promotions, mobile ticketing, schedules, bios, live stats, live streaming, ticket sales and push notifications.
        The new app includes a rewards program. Fans will earn points for attending events by checking in at geo-fenced locations within the app. Fans also can earn points through online games such as XULA trivia. Points can be redeemed for prizes that include a PlayStation®5, an Xbox, an Apple Watch Series 7, XULA Athletics apparel and gift cards.
        "We are excited to provide our students, employees, alumni and fans with a unique mobile experience and a better way to stay connected with Xavier Athletics," said Nathan Cochran, executive director of athletics and recreation.
