2023 ITA Cup brackets

        ROME, Ga. — Julius Hell and VanDer Woody defeated Tennessee Wesleyan's second-seeded Nicolas Cortes and Octavio Volpi 6-3, 6-4 Friday in the men's quarterfinals to highlight another 3-for-3 day for Xavier University of Louisiana tennis in the doubles main draw at the ITA Cup Championships.
        XULA's top-seeded teams — Jacobi Bain and Nereo Suarez of the Gold Rush, Mbali Langa and McKenna Wheatley of the Gold Nuggets — also won to join Hell and Woody, who are unseeded, in the semifinals. Bain and Suarez won 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) against Laurenz Flender and Perry Gregg of Holy Cross of Indiana, and Langa and Wheatley rallied for a 4-6, 6-4, [10-3] victory against Yeva Kononovych and Isabella Perez of Keiser.
        Start time for all the XULA semifinal matches will be 2:30 p.m. EDT Saturday at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. The pairings:
        •  Langa and Wheatley vs. Begona Benjumeda and Shalimar Talbi of SCAD Atlanta.
        •  Bain and Suarez vs. Alex Gurmendi and Santiago Villarruel of Georgia Gwinnett.
        •  Hell and Woody vs. Dragan Omcikus and Luca Ebenriter of Missouri Baptist.
