NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana softball announced Friday that its Sunday home doubleheader against Rust at Wesley Barrow Stadium was postponed.
        No makeup date has been determined.
        Next for XULA (2-0) will be four games against NCAA Division I opponents in the River City Classic at Vicksburg, Miss.: Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. against Tennessee State and noon against Grambling, then Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. against Alabama A&M and noon against Jackson State.
        XULA's other Wesley Barrow tenant, the baseball team, is still on for its noon Sunday home doubleheader against Tougaloo. Those games will be the season opener for the Gold Rush and the Bulldogs.
