"The season had lots of ups and downs and twists and turns,"
said sixth-year head coach Yhann Plummer. "I'm OK with how things turned out.
Fourteen All-America plaques, which is great, but it's time to rebuild. I am thankful for all the support
— campus administrators Curtis Wright and Darryl Keller, and athletic administrators
Pat Kendrick, Carlette Reeves, Clayton Simmons, Patrick Gary, Rae Campbell and Ed Cassiere,
and trainer Spencer Perreault.
"I thank Xavier's other coaches for helping to coordinate transportation, and for their encouragement.
To my coaching staff, Andrew Kidd and Darrick Williams, thank you for a wonderful, record-breaking season.
I'm looking forward to doing it again next season and doing it better. To our athletes, thanks
for working hard and pushing through to the end. See you next season, and be ready to work hard again."
In April both XULA teams won Red River Athletic Conference team
championships, and both teams set RRAC records for winning margin.
