COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — North Carolina Central defeated Xavier University of Louisiana twice Saturday on the final day of the HBCU National Tennis Championships.
        In the women's A-singles semifinals, the Eagles' top-seeded Alejandra Hidalgo Vega defeated XULA's fourth-seeded Amira Bergaoui 6-3, 6-4. In the men's B-doubles quarterfinals, Naresh Bharathy and Lucas Artigas defeated Dedric Ray and Artur Yakubov 6-3.
        Next for XULA will be the NAIA Gulf ITA Regional Championships, a three-day event that will begin Friday with matches at XULA and City Park.
