BATON ROUGE, La. — Xavier University of Louisiana's
Jaheene Bell won the men's 400-meter dash in 49.68 seconds Friday in the LSU Purple Tiger indoor track and field meet.
It was XULA's second meet of the 2025 indoor season.
Bell finished ahead of 12 runners, nine from NCAA Division I. XULA is a longtime NAIA member.
XULA produced 10 other top-10 finishes, six by its women. The Gold Nuggets'
Jordan Blair ran second in the 200 in 26.64.
Next for XULA will be New Orleans Classic 2 Friday at Joe Brown Park in New Orleans.
