Buy tickets online for XULA-LSUS basketball doubleheader

        NEW ORLEANS — A Tuesday winter storm forced Xavier University of Louisiana to push back for the second time its Red River Athletic Conference basketball home doubleheader against LSU-Shreveport.
        The new date will be Tuesday, Jan. 28. The women's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30. Venue will be the Convocation Center, on campus at 7900 Stroelitz St., zip 70125.
        As a result of this second move, the XULA-at-SUNO men's game of Jan. 28 was moved to Thursday, Feb. 20. That game will tip off at 7 p.m. at SUNO's The Castle, and it will become the final Gold Rush game of the regular season.
        The storm dumped approximately 10 inches of snow on the city and prompted XULA officials to keep the campus closed through Thursday, Jan 23. During the closure, classes will be conducted online, and all other university activities will be suspended.

        • Saturday, Jan. 25 at LSU-Alexandria — women 1 p.m., men 3 p.m.
        • Tuesday, Jan. 28 at home vs. LSU-Shreveport — women 5:30 p.m., men 7:30 p.m.
        • Thursday, Jan. 30 at home vs. Louisiana Christian — women 5:30 p.m., men 7:30 p.m.
        • Saturday, Feb. 1 at Louisiana Christian — women 1 p.m., men 3 p.m.
        • Tuesday, Feb. 4 at home vs. Jarvis Christian — women 5:30 p.m., men 7:30 p.m.
