2nd-ranked Keiser defeats 3rd-ranked Gold Nuggets at indoor semifinals

        OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Second-ranked Keiser defeated third-ranked Xavier University of Louisiana 4-0 in women's tennis Saturday in the semifinals of the ITA NAIA National Indoor Championships at Overland Park Racquet Club.
        The Gold Nuggets (1-1) will play fourth-ranked Lindsey Wilson — a 4-1 semifinal loser to top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett — for third place at 3 p.m. Sunday.
        Vanja Vidanovic, one of three Seahawks to win in doubles and singles, ended the match with a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Sydney Green on the sixth singles court. Keiser (2-1) led in all three unfinished singles matches.
        XULA's Mbali Langa and McKenna Wheatley, the NAIA's top-ranked doubles team, led Patricia Apisah and Violet Apisah 5-3 when Keiser clinched the first point.
