         NEW ORLEANS — NAIA No. 8 Xavier University of Louisiana defeated No. 20 Our Lady of the Lake 4-0 Saturday in women's tennis. It was the Gold Nuggets' fourth victory this season against a ranked opponent.
         Mbali Langa and Asadah Ma'at won in doubles and singles for the Gold Nuggets (8-8). Langa clinched on the second singles court with her 6-2, 6-1 victory against Millie Wileman.
         Amira Bergaoui defeated Lucia Popluharova 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1, and Ma'at won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 against Marie Peters.
         Hana Moss and Sanai LeSure clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 decision against Ely Laure Ah-sou and Michaela Muller at No. 3. Langa and Ma'at defeated Peters and Sofia Gonzalez de la Vega 6-1 at No. 2.
        Next for XULA's women and men will be 10 a.m. Sunday home matches against Lewis-Clark State. Start time was pushed up four hours. All XULA home matches have free admission.
