        MARION, Ind. — Xavier University of Louisiana qualified for finals in two events Wednesday at the 2025 NAIA Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University.
        In the women's 400-meter relay, the Gold Nuggets' Jordan Blair, Breanna Clarke, Nevaeh Lacey and Jaelyn Mitchell advanced with the seventh-fastest time, 46.76 seconds. William Carey led with 45.52. The final is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. EDT Friday.
        Jaheene Bell in the men's 400 hurdles advanced with the eighth-fastest time, 53.06. Doane's Zach Turner led with 51.28. The final is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. Friday.
        Mitchell did not advance in the women's 200 preliminaries. Her 24.87 ranked 16th out of 24 sprinters. Life freshman Briana Campbell led with 23.64, and the final qualifier at 24.53 was Madonna's Charity Jones.
