NAIA men's soccer coaches poll of Sept. 3, 2025

        NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana men's soccer moved to the doorstep of the NAIA top-25 coaches poll Wednesday morning.
        Victories against NAIA opponents St. Thomas (Fla.) and Mobile propelled the XULA men — who received no points in the preseason poll — to among "others receiving votes" with 72 points and 26th place.
        It's the highest ranking ever by a XULA soccer team. XULA launched men's and women's soccer in 2023.
        XULA was four points behind No. 25 Westcliff.
        St. Thomas was 27th in the preseason, but the Gold Rush opened the season with a 2-1 victory there. Friday in the Gold Rush home opener, XULA scored two second-half goals in a 2-0 defeat of No. 6 Mobile.
