Softball series against Southwest (N.M.) adjusted, relocated due to weather

NEW ORLEANS - Expected rainfall in the Crescent City has forced the adjustment of the time and location of Xavier Softball's home RRAC series against Southwest (N.M.) this week.

The teams were originally to play a three-game series on April 2 and 3 at the Park of Heroes. However, the series will now take place April 1 and 2 at the John Alario Jr. Sports Complex, located at 11080 Nicolle Blvd. in Westwego.

XULA and Southwest will play a single game on April 1 at 6 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on April 2. First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for 9 a.m. with a tentative Game 2 start time of 11 a.m.

Admission each day will be $8 for adults and $5 for children. No charge for infants.
