NEW ORLEANS - The Xavier women's tennis team will start its appearance in the 2026 Red River Athletics Conference on Thursday with a match against a fellow top-25 team. 

XULA, ranked No. 6, drew No. 23 Texas A&M Texarkana in the opening round, in a match that begins at 11 a.m. in the Xavier Tennis Complex. 

The Gold Nuggets are seeded No. 3 in the RRAC tournament, while TAMUT is seeded No. 6. 

Should Xavier win, its semifinal match would be Saturday, tentatively scheduled for noon.
