Women's Tennis to face SCAD-Atlanta in Round of 16

MOBILE, Ala. - The Gold Nuggets' trek to the 2026 NAIA Women's Tennis Championship quarterfinals will require a showdown with a fellow-ranked Southern team.

Tuesday evening, No. 5 Xavier, which enjoyed an opening-round bye, learned it would be playing No. 12-ranked SCAD-Atlanta in the Round of 16.

Wednesday's match, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Mobile Tennis Center, will serve as an unplanned make-up date for XULA and SCAD-Atlanta. The teams rained out of a scheduled match earlier this season.

SCAD-Atlanta defeated Oakland City 4-1 in the opening round of the championship.
