     NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's Lailaa Bashir and Lacee Ancar won women's titles Saturday in the XULA Invitational at XULA Tennis Center.
     Bashir was 4-0 in singles, including an 8-6 victory against teammate Farah Baklouti in the final. Bashir and Ancar were 2-0 in doubles and defeated Baklouti and Yi Chen Pao 6-1 in the final.
     Bashir, a freshman, has won six titles this fall, five in doubles. Four of those doubles titles were with junior teammate Angela Charles-Alfred, who did not compete Saturday. Bashir and Charles-Alfred will compete next week in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships at Newport Beach, Calif.
