NEW ORLEANS - The Xavier women's track and field team started its 2026 indoor season with a short trip to Tad Gormley Stadium for the NOLA Triangular Meet, a meet featuring XULA, Dillard, and Loyola-New Orleans. 

The meet was highlighted by XULA sweeping the medals in the 60-meter hurdles, with Ariyah Edwards taking gold, Rochelle Jeffries silver, and Jade Harris bronze. Jeffries also took bronze in the 60-meter dash, an event in which Xavier's Jaelyn Mitchell shared a gold.
