MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025-26 SSAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. Shevaughn Thomas of Life was named SSAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and
Tori Robinson-Thomas of Xavier was named SSAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The awards are for the week of Feb. 9-15.
Track: Shevaughn Thomas (Life – FR – St. Thomas, Jamaica)
This is her first-career weekly indoor honor. Thomas clocked in at 24.51 in the 200m at the Tiger Paw Invitational to hit the NAIA "A" qualifying standard. The time ranks 10th in the NAIA this season
This is her First-career weekly indoor honor. Robinson-Thomas competed in a trio of field events and one track event at the Samford Bulldog Open. She finished 4th in the high jump (1.55m) and 7th in the shot put (11.51m), while also running the anchor leg of the winning 4x400m relay team (4:02.30). Her high jump mark just-missed the NAIA "B" standard of 1.66m.
