Harris named RRAC Women's Track Athlete of Week

XULA senior Jade Harris has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for March 16-22.

Harris raced at the Louisiana Classics, a meet hosted by the University of Louisiana and featuring a huge field of mostly NCAA Division I competitors. She earned a second-place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.39.

Harris also participated in the 400m and earned a 27th-place finish with a time of 1:02.09. The field featured 21 participants from schools in the NCAA D2, NAIA, and NCAA D1.

Harris is a native of Sugar Land, Texas.
