MARION, Ind. — Xavier
University of Louisiana produced a pair of ninth-place finishes Friday on the final day
of the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University.
XULA's
Jordan Blair,
Breanna Clarke,
Nevaeh Lacey and
Jaelyn Mitchell finished ninth
in the women's 400-meter relay in 47.20 seconds. William Carey won in 45.26.
Jaheene Bell placed ninth in the men's
400 intermediate hurdles in 53.52. Doane's Zach Turner won in 51.08.
Lauryn Martin did not clear the opening
height of 1.61 meters/5 feet, 3 1/2 inches in the women's high jump and tied for 28th place.
Dickinson State's Adarra Hagelund won with 1.75 meters/5 feet, 9 inches.
Charity Johnson placed 13th in the women's discus with 42.47 meters/139 feet, 4 inches.
Doane's Madison Sutton won with 49.82 meters/163 feet, 5 inches.
This was XULA's final competition of the 2024-25
academic year.
