• XULA's only men's basketball NAIA All-American between 1972-73 and 2006-07 . . .
he made the third team as a junior in 1981-82
• Averaged 16.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 3.5 steals per game
for XULA's 29-2 team of 1981-82 that won Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and NAIA District 30
championships, qualified for NAIA nationals and ranked third in the final NAIA coaches poll
• XULA season records he still holds through the 2021-22 season:
— 254 assists in 1980-81
— 3.6 steals per game in 1980-81
— 108 steals in 1981-82
• His 655 career assists were a XULA record and still rank No. 2 in program history
• One of three Gold Rush players to reach 1,000 points and 500 assists in a career
— the others were Derrick Collins and Shaun Dumas
• Competed at XULA from 1979-83 as a 5-foot-9 point guard for Coach Denny Alexander
• Played 14 seasons professionally, most of them overseas
