•  Head coach of XULA women's basketball for six seasons (1992-98) . . . record of 159-34 (.824)
•  During her tenure, the Gold Nuggets:
        — Averaged 26.5 victories per season
        — Won Gulf Coast Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships in each of her final five seasons
        — Won their final 38 games at The Barn and their final 28 games against GCAC opponents
        — In 1997-98 became the first of two GCAC teams to win all 18 regular-season conference games, then three straight in the tournament
•  She is the only GCAC basketball coach to win in the first round four consecutive years at NAIA nationals
•  Born in 1964 . . . died in 2010 at age 46 after a lengthy battle with cancer
