• Played her first two seasons at XULA before completing her eligibility at P5 member Washington
• NAIA All-America:
— NAIA committee-selected team: First team twice
— Intercollegiate Tennis Association team: Two times
• Recipient of the Marvin P. Richmond Outstanding Player Award at the conclusion of the NAIA women’s nationals in both her seasons . . . She is the only XULA athlete to win an outstanding-player award at an NAIA national tournament
• The Gold Nuggets reached the NAIA national semifinals in both of her seasons
• Won in doubles (with Simone-Alyse Ewell) and singles in all three XULA rounds of NAIA nationals in 2014
• End-of-season ITA/NAIA national rankings:
— 2014-15: No. 2 singles, No. 22 doubles (with Carmen Nelson)
— 2013-14: No. 2 singles, No. 9 doubles (with Simone-Alyse Ewell)
• XULA ranking in final NAIA coaches polls:
— 3rd in 2013-14
— 4th in 2014-15
• In her two XULA seasons she never ranked lower than fourth nationally in ITA/NAIA singles
• In her two XULA seasons the Gold Nuggets never ranked lower than seventh in the NAIA coaches poll
• Recipient of three ITA end-of season awards:
— NAIA South Region Assistant Coach of the Year (2017-18)
— NAIA National and South Region Rookie of the Year (2013-14)
• Led the Gold Nuggets to No. 1 the final two NAIA coaches polls before 2014 nationals: April 29 and May 5 
• A 10-time conference player of the week, including a program-record six awards in 2014
• The only XULA women’s tennis player to make first-team All-Louisiana as a freshman and sophomore
• Finished her freshman season 17-0 in singles — 7-0 against ranked NAIA opponents, 6-0 against players from NCAA Division I — and 16-2 in doubles 
• As a sophomore she became the first XULA tennis player  to win a title at the National Small College Championships
• Won her first 30 singles matches for XULA before losing 6-4, 6-2 to NCAA Division II champion Valentine Confalonieri of Lynn in the “Super Bowl” women’s final of the 2014 National Small College Championships
• As a sophomore she was 7-0 in singles against NCAA Division I, including Tulane, Southern Miss and the University of New Orleans . . . Abbes led UL Lafayette 6-3, 5-1 when that dual was halted
• As a sophomore she became the first Gold Nugget to reach No. 1 in the USTA/ITA singles rankings . . . Was No. 1 in each of the first three rankings that season before dropping to No. 2 in the fourth and final ranking
• Received XULA master’s degree on May 27, 2023
