percentage for a XULA team that was 22-5, including 12 victories against teams that now play in NCAA Division I:
two victories apiece against Louisiana-Lafayette, Nicholls, North Texas and Tulane,
one victory apiece against Alcorn State, Oakland, Southeastern Louisiana and Southern
• NAIA All-America second team as a junior in 1980-81 and honorable mention as a senior
• The Gold Nuggets’ first player to earn All-Louisiana, third team or higher — Brule made the second team as a senior in 1981-82
• All-conference/all-district each of her last two seasons
• The first Gold Nugget to grab 20 rebounds in a game . . . She had 21 at home against the University of New Orleans on Feb. 6, 1979
• Broke the Gold Nuggets’ game rebound two record more tmes: 24 at home against Dillard on Feb. 3, 1981,
then 25 — still the school record — at Bishop on Jan. 13, 1982
