• The only XULA basketball player to average 10 points, six rebounds and five assists per game
in a season . . . Loyd averaged 11.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists as a senior in 1985-86
• Three-year starter who played for XULA and Coach Denny Alexander from 1982-86 . . . Gold Rush
were 80-24 (.769) overall and 44-10 (.815) in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference during Loyd's tenure
